Driftwood, birds of paradise, hypericum berries

San Francisco, 2026

In America's last printing house that handcrafts books to last forever, Hapax was built live onstage to capture a single summer. The wood structure endures. The bloom peaks, decays, and renews every season to reflect what is in bloom locally - a way to honor how time moves. A hapax occurs only once; next summer it will bloom again, yet no two flowers are alike.
